The Year-End Compass: Finish the Year Strong
Before you decide where you’re going next, it helps to know where you are.
The Year-End Compass is a five-week guided journey for consciously completing the year before rushing into the next one. Rather than beginning with resolutions, goals, or another list of things to accomplish, we’ll pause long enough to take our bearings and listen for what this year has actually taught us.
Together, we’ll look at what changed, what grew, what surprised you, and what may still be asking for your attention. We’ll harvest the wisdom of the year, explore what needs to be completed or consciously released, and make room for what wants to emerge next.
Over five weeks, we’ll move through Take Your Bearings, Harvest, Complete & Release, Reorient, and Cross the Threshold. Each session combines practical teaching, reflection, guided practices, and tools you can return to throughout the year.
This isn’t about squeezing more into the final weeks of the calendar.
It’s about carrying less of the wrong things forward.
By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer sense of where you stand, what deserves your energy, what you’re ready to leave behind, and the direction calling you into the year ahead.
You don’t need to know exactly where you’re going.
That’s what the compass is for.
Dates & Times
The Year-End Compass meets live for five Wednesdays, October 21 through November 18, 2026, from 10:00–11:30 AM Pacific / 1:00–2:30 PM Eastern / 6:00–7:30 PM UK / 7:00–8:30 PM Central Europe. Each session will be recorded and added to the WindWork learning space, so if you miss a class or want to revisit the teaching, you’ll have access to the complete program for one full year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience with shamanism or WindWork®?
Not at all. The Year-End Compass is designed for anyone who wants to bring greater awareness and intention to completing the year. If you already know my work, you’ll recognize some familiar threads, but no previous experience is necessary.
What if I can’t attend the live sessions?
All sessions will be recorded and added to the WindWork learning space. You can watch them on your own schedule or return to a session whenever you need it.
How long will I have access to the course?
You’ll have access to the complete program, including recordings and course materials, for one full year. I encourage you to return to the practices throughout the seasons, especially when you find yourself needing to take your bearings again.
Is this a goal-setting course?
Not exactly. We may talk about goals, but we begin somewhere deeper. Before deciding what you want to accomplish, we’ll look at where you are, what has changed, what you’ve learned, and what you’re ready to leave behind. Direction comes before destination.
What will we do during the five weeks?
We’ll move through five stages: Take Your Bearings, Harvest, Complete & Release, Reorient, and Cross the Threshold. Each week includes teaching, reflection, guided practices, and practical ways to bring the work into your everyday life.
What if this has been a difficult or disappointing year?
You don’t need to arrive with a list of accomplishments. Harvesting a year isn’t about deciding whether it was “good” or “bad.” Sometimes the greatest wisdom comes from what didn’t happen, what ended, or what asked us to change direction.
Do I need to know what I want for next year?
No. In fact, please don’t worry if you don’t. The purpose of the course is not to arrive with the answers. We’ll create enough space to notice what direction is beginning to call you.
How much time should I plan for between sessions?
The practices are designed to fit into real life. Give yourself some quiet time each week for reflection and the exercises, but this is not a course with piles of homework. The intention is to create clarity, not another obligation.
Can I take The Year-End Compass again next year?
Absolutely. We are never standing in exactly the same place twice. The questions may remain useful year after year, but your answers, circumstances, and direction will continue to change.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a journal or notebook, something to write with, and a willingness to be curious about where you actually are. You don’t need to have anything figured out.
And I think that last line is a lovely way to end the Q&A:
You don’t need to have the map. You’re learning to use the compass.
